Well. I have some dang good friends in Texas who are so miserable every election because the Dems write it off... for legitimate reasons. Oh how I pray that we lose the Electoral College in my lifetime, but I won't count on it. I've met some memorable Texans going through Dallas/Ft. Worth. They ALL think Texas is a country, or should be. :•) SiouxPal

I had a funny coincidence in my life: I kept meeting and liking people FROM Oklahoma. They didn't live there, but came from there. Must be something about the place that made them leave, but at the same time, something else about the place that made them good people. I've met quite a few good Texans too with many of the same wholesome values following the same pattern.
