the difference between liberals and the new... conservatives is the capacity for empathy John, that is another Urban Myth! Please rest assured that the Libs in no way have a monopoly on the human ability to feel true empathy and compassion. This may surprise and most likely confuse you while complicating a somewhat simplified perception of the world. May I, however, suggest you consider this as as a fact of life.
