They definitely had a green CRT

Tektronics had a small computer late 70's early 80s with a green screen. After staring at it for several hours, everything white looked pink.

I can't think of what that would be, I taught computer graphics in 1981 using Tektronix 4010's. This was the only graphics tube of that era (late 70's to early 80's).

The CDC mainframes we used also had terminals (albeit dumb), but even this was 7-8 years after your memory.

If some specialized manufacturer had a tube based input device before 1974 - its news to me, but then there were a lot more companies in the industry back then.

I do remember one Singer system that had a display, but the entry was strictly teletype and punched card.
