I see it differently. HP may be tempted to bring in a "Chainsaw Al" lookalike and alienate enterprise customers (if they haven't already).

And others will finally begin to erode their printer near-monopoly.

this is a very good thing for
hp and long term trouble
for sun micro as they split
into two and have a ceo 100%
focused on making the computer
unit work. this is FANTASTIC
if you are a hpq shareholder.

I think the official reason for letting her go was she failed to turn HP/CPQ into something other than printers + cartridges + PC sales.

I don't see HP changing anytime soon regardless of CEO.
