hello AHWNN, I certainly enjoyed the respite of having returned to the USD/HKD base accounting currency, so that nominal losses from forex rate shift are far less possible than before.

The supposed news on the USD keeps getting apparently worse, and yet the USD is definitely not falling but actually rising, and so I will be patient at a measured pace for a bit longer, because the market is trying to tell us something very counter intuitive.

OTOH, it is good that you did not tag along on my US housing shorts, since the obvious on US housing keeps getting more apparent, and yet it still rises, allowing me a chance to lose money in a new and novel way. On this trade, I remain paced and measured, and patient, though grimacing with pain and anguishing, feeling the market's love of a good joke.

Chugs, Jay
