They empathise with the "victim". I know the exact meaning of "empathize" but asked you to explain that "bleeding heart" stuff to me. As s matter of fact I don't believe the majority of cons disagree at all with the majority of libs as for the need to protect the "victim" of circumstances from falling through the net. I believe the difference lies with the definition of who is a true "victim" and who tries to take a free ride on the welfare system. Also I believe both sides can pretty much agree that we don't want that to happen, right? Just check MM's posts and you see what I mean. That doesn't make him a liberal, does it? So here we stand, (almost) united in opinion and still cannot agree on what has to be done and how to do it. Taro
