"Smoking raises health care costs?? Check an actuarial table sometime and I belive you'll see that smokers die MUCH earlier than non-smokers. The HIGHEST health care costs are for long term geriatric care. If EVERYBODY smoked the country would save TRILLIONS on health care. Might be a morbid point, but I get really tired of people talking about smoking as if non-smokers will NEVER get sick. They WILL get sick and they will require long term care, which costs a LOT more than a heart attack or lung cancer and you're out. So THERE...LOL" Message 20940600
