Whats needed is an attempt to reign in the terrorists, and cooperation with israel in this regard both military and intel wise. Dahlen may be a key player. What GST doesnt understand is that if sharon is not tough when terrorists strike, israeli popular opinion will force him out and move guys like Bibi in. When you write, you spin negative on Abbas. Give him a chance Nadine. He is trying to finesse a better situation. He is trying to buy time for Pals to become vested in hope for peace, democracy and economic well being. Also dont ignore the fledgling MEU(like old EEU) that will arise with egypt, jordan, palestine and Israel. Please give him and them a chance. Sometimes history does not repeat itself and with Arafat dead, that may be just possible here.
