Sometimes I search a stock up in the search box by its name and then "public messages" to see what people are saying on different boards. So when AAPL was on its meteoric rise but probably still low 60's or maybe high 50's, I found this one guy, niceguy I think was his moniker, repeatedly on the AMD board, pumping. Now AMD was at 22 then. He said it should go to the moon just like AAPL. Etc. I questioned him. And when it fell a bit a while back, I asked him what he thought now. I usually try not to goad people tho, we all make mistakes.

They are like ramboids (da bu$$)...its a story they cannot let go of, the underdog story, I guess. But the AMD thread is manically active.

Looks like a good short. You actually short and/or buy puts? I sometimes play stuff with options. Sometimes I have been known to get in and out of some options in 5 minutes, like on MSFT last year I was doing that for a while because the options were so cheap and the stock so much volume but so relatively stable if they moved up 10 cents you could make 5%.
