yeah my trading account which I actually work in has only goog and aapl. Actually I am not a trader, I am an investor but thats all I have. I don't short much but if I did I would own more.

The other companies I speak of which have stock that doesn't move is where I do consulting. They pay me in options sometimes. Basically since I do supply chain work I work with companies like the cisco or junipers of the world, or those that actually manufacture. And those companies, or more accurately the stocks of those companies, are DEAD. Try listening to a call from foundry networks for example- once a HIGH FLYING company. Now, you're lucky if you get one or 2 questions from analysts. At least there is anticipation for google's call. Apple too.
