The homies were hosed this morning by Citigroup....Solly....Smith Barney...you know, those guys. While they remain positive on the group and still think you should own 'em, they expect the rate of earnings revisions to slow and the stocks to plateau.

They cut targets across the sector and punted Beazer (BZH), Hovnanian (HOV), KB Home (KBH), Pulte (PHM), Ryland (RYL) and Toll Bros (TOL) to hold from buy.

Thanks for posting that CI report!

At some point all this nonsense is going to trigger a massacre in the bond market.

Common sense always carries the day in the end, even though it sometimes appears that basic commons sense has become "obsolete."

The part about OFHEO housing index/CPI-rents was really an eye opener....
