>>To the delight of the neocons at PNAC and AEI, an influential group of liberal hawks share their vision of a U.S. grand strategy that will create a world order based on U.S. military supremacy and America's presumed moral superiority.<<

Interestingly, the left wing communist movement led by Marx of Germany, Trotsky, Zinoviev, and Lenin of Russia 80 years ago was for global “Liberation” and “freedom”. And now the right wing neocons’ Kristol father and son, Elliott Abrams, Richard Perle, Wolfowitz and others are leading the Americans into a movement with basically the same slogan _ global “Liberation” and “freedom”.

Unfortunately to the neocons and the few liberal hawks, the mindset of the majority Americans are very different than theirs’. While the neocons want global domination and earthly wealth by using US military supremacy, the American people just want peace and good life (and they already have those for decades) and they have no need for US imperialism and fighting abroad. No matter how hard the neocons’ propaganda machines works, it did not change the Americans’ basic mindset, which is vital for neocons’ endeavor. The Iraq situation has provided a very good example.

The general (the neocons) moves, but the soldiers(the American people) do not follow.
