Why does anyone try to get out of dollars? Because the dollars are depreciating through inflation. Getting out of the dollar is the same as selling the dollar.

Something doesn't quite jive. Inflation is high for things you need, flight of capital away from the dollar into tangible assets with skyrocketing real estate values and commodity prices. Yet the reported CPI is very low and mortgage rates are at 45 year lows in an environment of flat rents and wages. Something has to give here soon.

look, if you want to equate bullishness on oil with bullishness on real estate, be my guest. but i'm not into absurdism, so just find somebody else to discuss it with.
