Was the the blast that killed thousands?

The western media went abruptly silent on that..Maybe now we know why.

why doesn't that surprise me? -ng

I also thought the headline of Rummies' recent trip to Iraq had some superfluous wording

"Rumsfeld makes surprise visit to Iraq"

lol

Surprise visit? Any and every visit by Shrub/Rumsfeld/Cheney/Wolfoditz etc is sure gonna be unannounced and a surprise. I bet they don't even tell their own wife and kids. Definitely not any relatives. 80%+ of the world wouldn't give a toss if they got blown away. If Rummie had told a soul they would have had to vet the whole airport. They already vetted a qtr of a city for the inauguration route .. no more left in the budget for that luxury. For the next four years it is back to the five sided earth-covered dungeon .

It's all okay though (not). If they completely ruin this country no dungeon or vault is gonna provide sanctuary from the pissed off masses.

Just gotta polish up those pikes. Rumsfeld gets a small but nimble looking one (maybe with a little hillbilly plate if he's especially good).

future generations:

It's true Timmy, your grandma and grandpa actually went to some of these countries in person. It was called traveling.
