Whole Foods is at the apex of a huge trend towards organics, vegetarianism and veganism. Their stores are beautiful and really fun places to shop. Their founder recently became vegan, and is working hard to make sure the dead animals they sell in their meat department did not suffer (beyond the obvious obscenity of giving their lives for the short-term gratification of people who are risking their health and polluting the environment by consuming them). So how was your organic dinner? That sounds really fun.
