This business of hounding people in order to "save" them really has to stop. People should be able to run the threads they create the way they want to, without being demonized elsewhere. We all have the option to be the master of our domain on SI- why people can't just leave other folks' domain alone, I just don't know. There are big things in life. Spouses. Children. Friends. Work. Chores. RECREATION. and then there is SI. and on SI there are those threads you might be banned from...wow...what a tiny thing that is (unless, of course, one is banned from many many threads. Then I think one really needs to put on one's thinking cap and figure out why a bunch of people don't want to talk to one. Chances are it's something the matter with one. The pleasant people I have met on SI are rarely banned from any threads- but that's purely anecdotal. Maybe it's not true. Maybe pleasant people are banned all the time, but I doubt it.)
