Just to make your question clear. Did you mean to say -

I'll assume you did, and answer that question. Yes it does seam that if any limitations on what the state will define as and recognize as a marriage are a restriction on freedom, that my 2 year old niece should be able to marry my roomate's cat, my car, or her female infant cousin.
