I liked what he stood for too..I read once that He and Tesla would hang out together and what a gas.. They would "light" each other up in a low amp, high voltage ( I think I got that right) chair of Tesla's. No wonder MT had that wild, white hair.. LOL..

I read the standard stuff of Twain. But one of my favorites was a true life account of his "Hawaii Chronicles" or something like that on one of our trips over there, I ran into it and picked it up and what great beach reading. One of the things that stood out in my mind was this..

This was during the height of the whaling industry and things were just booming in Honolulu because of that. And even an intellectual like Twain got caught up in the idea that whaling would go on forever. Sound familar.. <g>

And so it goes to this day..
