If the 3 DCR is aggressive because of genetic change (and not because of susceptibility of the new case in New York), then a lot of emphasis will be on vaccine development, because anti-virals are fading fast.

ViroLogic just came out with a press release and more detail. Its pretty clear that the problem lies with the virus and not the host and the virus is probably a recombinant
