The poles flipping, yes I have read that, far
from being knowledgable, yet another factor
in our environment that is beyond control as
is warming/cooling cycles.

Now that doesn't
mean emisions and pollutants are not a hazard
and they do like everything affects everything
else that happens in this world. But the magnitude
is different and when one puts economic equations
to this, it becomes apparent that the money spent
except on the worst conditions could be better spent
in other areas such as education or immunization
or reinvestment in communities rather than these
socialist programs to re appropriate wealth under
the guise of 'environmental concerns'. If the CO2
emissions are too high in Cleveland then it is
too high in Calcutta or Peking.....period, not this
crap about if we limit G7 or the west and not limit
the east or asia and that will somehow cure the ill is
ludicrous but the eco-religious chant this like holy-grail.
end of rant.

What that article does show that there is a real concern something of catastrophic proportions should be discussed
and realized. Look what the tsunami did. once in how many
hundred years it might occur but the demand is NOW be prepared
and many more know, not necessarily can save all, but can
provide a safety window to work in and some mechanism to
put in place. Isn't that a better use of time, wisdom,
agreement, money for all to get into the act.
