I always have endorsed the notion that democracy should move to other countries from ours, but I thought that would happen by American example rather than American might. Well, the Democrats were traditionally the democracy evangalists and the nation builders. The conservatives were traditionally the isolationists. That's where we all came from... not now. I still think of myself as sort of a traditional conservative... so I'm more aligned with the Democratic party. Hell, I can't figure it out. It's the alternate universe thing again. John
