Well, thank you for the compliment! Sometimes, I think I might be the only one in this world that admits he might be wrong. In particular, I've noticed that our politics have gotten to the point where politicians can never admit they were wrong or change course. That is incredibly dangerous, because it means they dig in their heels on bad ideas even when new evidence shows they were wrong.

Then in the common man on these threads, it's the same thing. I guess sometimes we all get so interested in our own positions that we're talking at each other instead of with each other. Me included.

Anyway, such is life.

Ted, I must agree with you here, you have brought up some valuable facts like the water under the West Bank and other stuff.
You are good on the facts...but quite amaze me on the strange conclusions you so often draw from them. The load one must carry as a declared liberal, I guess. Progressive or not...
