Ted, you have pretended that lying under oath is ok as long as it is a Democrat President. You denied the similarity between Packwood and Clinton. You defend Democrats and only criticize Republicans. I said that Packwood was as bad as Clinton. I have stood always for morals. You may perceive differently. If you continue to perceive through Democrat colored glasses then you surely will.

I never said lying under oath is okay. What I said was that one has to look at the reason for the lie and then judge accordingly. If Clinton had lied under oath to cover his act of giving state secrets to the enemy, then I would be very, very upset and would have thought he deserved impeachment and more more. The fact that he lied to cover an affair carries much less weight with me. In fact, its the right with an axe to grind who tried to make this molehill into a mt with the help of the mainstream media.

Just as I was wrong when I judged Clinton guilty prior to his proving himself to be unfit to command, you may be rushing to string up Tom before anything has been proven or even prosecuted.

I have been following Delay for 4 years now. This is not his first transgression nor do I think it will be his last. When the TX democrats refuse to assemble with the rest of the TX legislators, it was he who illegally called out Homeland Sec. to do an search, using federal equipment and personnel to handle what was a state's issue. It was he who called out for a new and second redistricting of TX in less than 4 years when typically, the states only redistrict once every ten years. It was he who went to Israel and told them they could have whatever they wanted from the US; that he would guarantee that since they are the keepers of Christian artifacts. It was he who tried to get a House law changed so that he would not be found guilty of violations and would be protected. I could go on........but why bore you.

I find it very odd that this less than honest individual is one of the more important legislators in terms of stature from you're state, and yet, you know nada about these transgressions. Certainly, TP and CJ do not seem surprised by the revelations.
