cnbc is toast until we get a bull market back, that is their real problem I think. They are just floundering now. I saw the president of CNBC talking about ratings in 02. He was optimistic about CNBC, he kew ratings were low because this was a bear market, he likened it to the weak numbers cnbc (or fnn) had after every other bad market period in 87 or 90. That was 3 years ago. He obviously thought as I did that our markets would recover. He didn't plan on this lingering 70-style malaise. CNN-FN has already gone down, and fox doesn't even dedicate an hour to Neil Cavuto in primetime anymore. If we don't get a decent market in the next 2 years I wonder what CNBCs future is.
