Good question, I think the general pattern is increases. I know that has been the case in the UK and China, but that is because growth is happening.

Cisco Systems Reports 5.9% Passive Stake In Lumera..............

WASHINGTON -- Internet networking giant Cisco Systems Inc. (CSCO) reported Friday a 5.9% stake in Lumera Corp. (LMRA).

At Dec. 31, 2004, Cisco held 976,651 common shares of Lumera, a Bothell, Wash.-based nanotechnology company, according to a filing made with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Cisco beneficially owned 857,500 shares of Lumera Series A preferred stock as of April 30, 2004, before the company went public last summer. The preferred shares converted into 974,438 common shares upon the closing of the IPO, according to prior regulatory filings.

San Jose, Calif.-based Cisco disclosed its stake Friday on an SEC form designated for passive investors. Such filers aren't required to disclose details of their transactions.
