There are those who see the forest. There are those who cannot see the tree for the bark. DemoLibs often resemble the latter.

Right. Clinton cut taxes to get the budget balanced.

Clinton RAISED taxes to get the budget balanced. It is bush who is cutting taxes and claims that the resulting economic BOOM will eventually balance the budget.

Clinton's elimination of the cap gain tax on primary residences was a provision of a total package. One might add that it smells a lot like a convervative move...you know, ownership society before smirk's keepers thought of the phrase?

You keep clucking about it as if it was executed in a vacuum. That makes your post on the subject, one you have made repeatedly I might add, D-U-M-B.

RE:"What a dumb cluck of a post...Clinton passed an entire tax package that brough the budget to balance, and you focus on one item out of context."

Right. Clinton cut taxes to get the budget balanced. So did Bush. Riigght. You must have been in another country.

Actually, Clinton did balance the budget. What country were you visiting during the Clinton years? En Francais, si'l vous plait.
