A U.S. plan should not count on people learning to invest. The vast majority don't have finance degrees and we have to build a plan that assumes the investing masses will have no skill at investing. With that assumption, we can make this plan a no brainer and ensure we maximize the probability of them investing well. Two words: lifecycle funds.
