I still think we ought to tax the hell out of food and fix a lot of problems along the way.

If the answer is hydrogen, we need nuclear or coal. If the answer is something we don't have then the answer is hydrogen. Ironic that after 200 years, steam is still the answer...

Even if it takes alot of energy to use this energy, it replaces oil in our cars and that is the goal here.

If gas is cheaper, people will use gas. The goal will fail.
Reminds me of airline safety, when it's cheaper to save lives, more safety measures will be implemented. Or HDTV...
