My own sense is that high-functioning black people actually have better social skills than high-functioning white people, on average.> Yes, they are a joy to work with. They also seem to have a nice ability to see through phonies. I think a large number of black professionals in all fields is crucial to the future fo our country. If affirmative action has served to help that goal, then it is worth it. With time it will hopefully become irrelevant.
