I know. I myself would like to buy a hybrid for my next car. I will be buying one in the next year or so, but would like to wait until Toyota puts the hybrid into their Camry.

Even though the pure economics of hybrids haven't crossed THE critical threshold yet, there is more than enough excitement surrounding them to drive the technology forward. And that's great news, IMO.

Hopefully, as they sell more, the price will come down. Here people who own the hybrids are putting stickers on the cars.......I can't remember the exact wording but its a funny put down.......I think against drivers of gas only cars. I wish I could remember what the stickers say.
