Did he say that?

This seems to be a major problem with you. Yes, he did say it. He said American troops were targeting and killing journalists. Nine eye witnesses have confirmed this. Gergen and one other have tried to say he immediately backed off it and didn't mean it, but they did admit he said it. I have posted this, one by one, over the last two weeks.

That's why he quit. He couldn't get around it.

Yes, Jordan said that journalists had been deliberately targeted by both sides. Multiple eye witnesses confirmed it, saying that he "didn't mince his words and declared point-blank" that the journalists had been targeted. He only started to back off when confronted by Barney Frank.

If he hadn't said it, if his words could possibly be construed as referring to unintentional friendly fire, he would have released the tape. He didn't. I think that tells us what we need to know.

Did he say that? Or is that one of those embellishments/extensions/distortions?

Even Ripley wouldn't believe this tale.

Initially, you wanted us to believe that Eason's comments regarding US soldiers and reporters were true, even challenging us to prove them false.

Now you want to infer that he never made the comments.

The k must stand for Kerry.

Like CNN, Eason and Kerry, your fairy tales have no credibility.

Karen, on this one I have to stand with you.

Jordan had accused the U.S. military of systematically murdering journalists

Did he say that? Or is that one of those embellishments/extensions/distortions?

No, he didn't. As far as I know from reading the reports about his comments, Jordan did not use the word systematically nor did he use the word murder or murdering.

I think that phraseology is clearly a distortion. Words have meaning. "Targeting" is not the same thing as "systematically" and "killing" is not the same thing as "murdering".
