I would not be surprised if stock market bulls start to argue that equities are a bargain because they are not as pricey as residential real estate.

I also said "this time is different" but it was when I called for the tops or for a bubble in coastal New England real estate.

I was wrong for the better part of 25 years. An old guy who owns a lot of land near me said not to worry and that he had been calling a top wince WW2.

In many areas, the biggest building and renovation boom since the Gilded Age is underway.

Looks to me like there's a nascent boom brewing in rural land too.
