Yes, I think that is reasonable. I am not sure exactly when it will happen, but as you say, another run at resistance seems very likely.

$38.01 is a good place for short sellers to lie in wait, I'd say!

Index futures are essentially unchanged, except a bit flatter now, trading in the red. Oil is trading near the high of the session at the moment. The European markets are trading flat to a bit down. I guess they are probably keying off the U.S. index futures trading.

Not much on the early wires. GOOG got an upgrade... seems a bit odd, since the float will more than double today, with 177 million shares coming out of lockup against a 128 million share float, and insiders are selling already (see below). Our old friend ISLE with the sexy BBs beat on the top and bottom line pretty nicely, so that should move. Fresh buy signal already too:

139.142.147.218

Some talk about the Verizon acquisition of MCI. Barron's talk about insider buying in SLM, ZHNE, NBR, AMD, JCI, CERS, MBWM and APLX, and insider selling in CD, MSFT, GOOG, ZMH, MGG, BCR, MO and LEH.

All in all, everything appears to be lining up nicely so far.
