"TELL ME HOW TO ITALICIZE"

To either italicize or bold you use what are called HTML tags. You type the tags around the language you want to italicize or bold. The tags show up in the reply window when you are typing them, but when you post the message they are invisible.

The tags to italicize are:

< i >the quick brown fox< /i >
the quick brown fox

To bold:

< b >the quick brown fox< /b >
the quick brown fox

In this case you can see the tags because I left empty spaces after each < and before each >. Remove those empty spaces to make the tags work and make them invisible.

You can practice here:

Suma, I'd submit that most of the posts that only ridicule or dismiss as "bush-hate-speech" (rather than refuting actual points made or evidence presented) are only responding to posts that lack a coherent point, fail to present evidence, are clearly nothing more than hate-filled rants, or all of the above. Where that is not the case, then it is usually a response to a point or supposed "evidence" that has been clearly and thoroughly refuted numerous times before, but which is repeated incessantly nonetheless.

But the reality, Suma, is that some speech really is hate-speech and deserves whatever ridicule and scorn is heaped upon it.

JMO, of course.

PS: Formatting hints, including commands for italicized, bolded and underlined text, can be found to the right of the window where you type your messages. Your shouting is forgiven, but just this once.
