The more unprocessed food you eat, the better. Trans fats make foods taste better, and keep longer- so if food is manufactured, it's probably in there. Check out corn sweetener- it's also in everything- and the addition of corn sweetener to all our products correlates to the rise in obesity. Man was probably not meant to eat his own body weight in sugar every year (the average consumption of sugar is something like 225 pounds a year- amazing!)

I spent a very very long day in the grocery store when I did a check of everything I bought for trans fat. There are a lot of margarines to look at, for one thing. With all this talk about chickens and fats and this and that, I've found myself not being very hungry the last few days. While I was home alone here a bit ago, I went a week eating beans for dinner, so maybe I could make it okay. :)
