If so, it is the dumbest reason to do so. I think folks are feeling the pinch on the risk of the halo effect. It has been a while since any company in tech land dominated a space like Apple. It is a short in my book, but probably closer to the split. But then if I am thinking that way, perhaps it would not be a bad idea to step in now with a phased in short, as others are probably thinking the same. Have a good vacation.
