Karen, What bothers me about putting too much emphasis on the human factor in the ups, and downs, of weather, is that from what I have read, it is the hole in the ozone layer that is considered to be causing these extremes, but the hole in the ozone is at the north pole. Not that many humans around there, and for good reason.

The emissions of industry, exhausts, and other activities, are responsible for the contamination of our source of air, and that is enough for me to be concerned about the over population of so many areas, without spending time fearing global warming.
