On the gay issue, only one scientific study has been posted to these thread on the matter. It was the one Peter posted and its conclusion was that there is no statistical evidence that genes determine sexual orientation.

I agree with you that this topic is maddening. It's especially maddening to see people post with absolute certainty that gay people have no choice in the matter, and then those same people can find no scientific studies that prove their case. Ironic, don't you think?


The study of the human genome is still in its infancy. To expect they will have found the gene that causes homosexuality just because you are ready to make a determination is a bit narcissistic, don't you think?

I simply question why someone would choose to be something that is hated by so many people. It doesn't make sense from a a number of perspectives.

As long as we're using opinions, why don't we just use mine? ;)

When you can tell me that you consciously chose to be straight, then I might consider it.
