they would tell their own companies to violate patents? this would destroy the whole patent system on every product marketed.

It is happening all over the world. Other countries are well aware that the America's number one product is ideas. The more they can tear down the protection of these, the more they can steal. I just posted an article on how the greens are going after patent protection by attacking the WTO. China steals left and right.

Absolutely, they use the humanitarian issue of drugs to break the yoke of intellectual property imperialism, but we know it immediately extends to easy to copy music, movies, books and software. Then it hits hardware.

But this time we have the Japanese, European and Asian tiger countries on our side.

China is still playing both sides of this, but are being watched very closely.
