Ali, before I start posting a lot of stuff well known to and understood by most people around, let me ask you this question: You are beginning to chicken out already...here's what you said. Because I personally admit to not seeing such a enormous difference between their (Leninist Russia that is) ideology and our current US lib credo. Forget for a moment that both of us can find examples of politicians or ideologies on both sides of the aisle that are extreme in nature, left or right...ok...and even as you have softened your statement (socialism you said)...look back to Clinton's presidency (and I pick Clinton because he was a very popular president among his presumably socialist constituency) and tell me how his presidency departed from Bush's, in ways you might refer to as socialist.
