cthruu, I think the GOOG release was yesterday. This is from today's WSJ


Google shares climbed higher after the last major sales restriction, or "lockup," expired and 176.8 million shares held by employees and pre-IPO investors entered the market.

tom is right, shares are out of the gate as of yesterday. i expected high volume, just not in this direction. i notice there are more large blocks on the sell side than buy side, but i haven't been watching it all day today - random glances.

same with ebay, almost all of the large blocks are sells. even though i missed some fun moves this afternoon, i think i'll stay in cash today.

baby boy due in 4 days, not much time for research...
