There is something to that... but I think he hadn't learned the nuances of being a national candidate (like Bush and Kerry).

Still, bottom line, I think the Dems have a better chance confronting Bush than moving in his direction. The first thing you HAVE TO DO is establish that you stand FOR something. Decide what it is, package it, and sell it.
