No, what the pundits were laughing about was that he mistakenly sent people to "factcheck.com", when the site he was trying to direct them to was "factcheck.org".

The people at factcheck.com, seeing a huge influx of visitors, then arranged to redirect those visitors to George Soros' site, where George had posted an article giving reasons not to vote for Bush.

Factcheck.org has never been a partisan site. Check it out.
