while it might be very convenient if Henry were a quack so that we wouldn't have to take his opinions seriously, all the evidence indicates that he is a serious and respected professional. so why don't you just live with it and consider the implications of what he says.

the only thing is, obviously even "experts" can disagree, and it appears Henry's predictions or projections may be on the outlier fringe among experts, in terms of the potential damage of the flu virus. so the question is, whether he is an outlier because he is one of the few who's not afraid to speak the truth, or whether he is (in the opinions of other experts) biased towards unrealistically drastic assumptions. not being an expert myself, i don't know the answer to that question.
