In Vermont, its really hard to tell what moderate is...Bernie Sanders, Jim Jeffords, Patrick Leahy...
Lump those 3 together, and Screaming Howard Dean begins to look more moderate.

Somewhat like Washington State...Compared to Jim McDermott, nearly anyone else seems to be more left of center, but not over the deep end and over the cliff hard left...
