And I bet you $10 that Cheney was vested with full authority on Sept 11, 2001 --as stipulated in NSPD 6 or was it NSPD 7? Check it out:

Yes, Cheney had to be there to make sure they got their story straigt, since he was the mastermind behind the whole thing.

I wonder if the commission asked Bush why he sat there with a stupid look on his face while the nation was under attack?
