SPRL v VXEN - funny I thought I'd get a question about that. I can't really compare other than to say both are speculative oil companies.

With VXEN, you know the risks. Take a look at the filings. There is a balance sheet that will likely require some fixing, including some financing. On the other hand, the recent PR's have some meat to them and it could be a major move upwards. No numbers there so you need to quantify the potential and then decide whether it's worth the risk.

With SPRL, as I've often posted, it's a pink sheet gamble. Almost infinite risk and a huge potential reward. Now, let's assume that the story plays out and they actually close on Russian wells, get an infrastructure in place and more permanent finacing. At that point, we can compare the two.

Of course, by that point, SPRL will be a multi bagger. That's assuming it's not a scam. As you know, there are estimates posted that claim to give a potential valuation of $7 per share or more. I tend to discount everything and just go with the feel as there really is no other choice. Assuming SPRL becomes a filing company, then we can more intelligently evaluate the risks. The fun part is buying in before as a gamble. Fun, at least, if it goes up.

SPRL - seems to be holding quite well after the run. But again, in my mind, it's really apples and oranges.
