Why care about AARP? The organization is a giant bureaucracy that behaves like most others. It doesn't exist for its members; it exists for the employees and their job security. Why should I worry about YOUR kids (I have none)? Did your parents, FDR or any of our esteemed members of Congress ever get it right? Did they create a plan based on actuarial principles?
