I can't figure out why anyone would stipulate "no googling". Even things I just read this morning, I want to google for accuracy- and when I can't find something, I have to put in all those qualifiers like "as I recall" or "I think I read that..". So much neater and simpler to google, and be sure that you are at least in agreement with one other sorce (and FAR better to find several on topic, that are not merely parroting the same source.)

I just thought asking someone NOT to google, was like asking them NOT to think. And why on Earth would anyone do that, unless they had an agenda that didn't actually involve the issue under discussion. JMO, of course
