I'm not sure what you're talking about. I don't think I blamed poverty for anything. I didn't say that people become drug addicts or alcoholics because they are poor. I just said that poverty, drug addiction and alcoholism are not moral failings.

You seem to believe that all poor people in rural areas are good people, while those in urban areas are all thugs and bums. All that shows is that you have some deep-seated prejudices, and not much knowledge of the real situations in either place.
